today is my first non-texas post on my new laptop. i'm still figuring out how to type on this freaking keyboard. i miss my big ole ergonomic one (of course carrying that into the coffee shop to type on might seem a little odd...)
oh yeah- and starbucks sucks for not having free wireless, but Abq has this other little chain called Satellite and they give me all the free wireless love that i want
recap of the past few weeks. b-day was great! i'm so glad that i got to see everybody before i left. didn't find the kind of dancing i was looking for, but had good food and the best company.
then there was the move. the apartment doesn't quite look like an apartment yet- i've discovered i'm not exactly an organized un-packer (not that i really expected to be- nothing else in my life is organized so why should this be any different?). still need a couch and then it will start to feel more like home.
i'm not sleeping well- too many weird noises coming from other apartments.
tomorrow orientation then one more weekend of freedom and i become a slave to the unm psych dept. yeehaw
